We are delighted to be able to share the news that Jackie Laar’s wonderful book for children telling the story of St Frideswide, the patron saint of Oxford and our Diocese, has received international recognition. The book won the Gold medal at the Illumination Awards in the Children’s Picture book category!

We hear that Bishop Stephen is very pleased at this, not least because he has kindly made it possible for every C of E Primary school to receive a copy of the book for their Library.
