As part of the process of recruiting a new vicar, we need to create a Parish Profile. This is a document which describes our parish – who we are, what we do, what we are about, all that we have to offer and how we hope to develop as a community. It will be one of the first things a priest thinking about applying to be our vicar will look at. To help us create an accurate profile, which gives as broad a picture as possible of our parish and its life, we are contacting not just regular members of the congregations, but also the wider community. We are gathering from as many people as possible your thoughts about our parish – its strengths and weaknesses and your hopes for its future. Hearing your hopes and thoughts will help us to better understand the kind of person we should be looking to appoint: one who will help us grow in faith and serve God in our community in the best way we can.
