David Lockett writes, “Over recent years, I have given several talks, lectures and meditations on art and faith. My aim has been to engage people with visual art and show how it can enrich lives; and at the same time show how human creativity can remind us of the Creator God who made humanity in his own image.
“I am offering to the church website a series of meditations of about ten minutes’ duration on different paintings and sculptures. My intention is to get a balance between art history and devotional reflection.
“This fifth meditation is based on “The White Crucifixion” by Marc Chagall
