In response to the very sad news this evening, the flag is now flying at half-mast and we have reopened St Michael’s so that you can come and pray or simply sit peacefully.
The church will remain open until 10pm this evening.
On Friday, the bells will toll for an hour at midday and a book of condolence will also be opened on Friday.
During the period of mourning, St Michael’s will be open from 9am till 7pm each day.
