Jean Pryce-Williams

Vivace with drummer 10.1.2016The whole parish celebrated Jean’s licensing in a special service on Sunday 10th January 2016. Since her ordination, Jean has encouraged the whole community to share and discover their God-given gifts with her Creative Skill Share initiative. One aspect of this – the community choir, ‘Vivace’ – clearly enjoyed taking part in Jean’s licensing service.

Also present were people involved in Jean’s other initiatives: Cuppa Corner and the Memories Café. Cuppa Corner is a drop-in café, which opens once a month in St Mary’s Farmoor. The Memories Café is a popular fortnightly event for people of any age, with or without memory difficulties, to enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment, home-made cakes, card games, chat and laughter.  Age UK has now recognised the café as an important resource and has included our details on their website.

If you want to get involved with any of these projects – in any capacity – do get in touch with Jean at j.pryce-williams@pippins.myzen.co.uk
