The lockdown means we can’t worship in church or at Cumnor War Memorial this Sunday but We Will Still Remember!

Join us for our online Remembrance Sunday service.

This is a traditional Remembrance Sunday service led by our vicar Jonathan, with hymns sung by the St Michael’s Church Choir. It includes a 2 minutes silence at 11am and footage from the private service held earlier in the week at Cumnor War Memorial with wreaths laid by representatives from the Royal British Legion, the Parish Council, the Scouts and the Church.

All the words are on the screen but if you’d prefer a printed order of service, you can download one here:

You can listen to this service by phoning 01865 920993 or click the play button below to watch.

(If you click on the button with 4 arrows pointing diagonally outwards the video will be fullscreen.)

We’re also inviting everyone to stand on their doorsteps at 11am on Sunday 8th and observe a socially distanced 2 minutes silence. The last post and reveille will be sounded at Cumnor War Memorial to mark the start and end of the silence.
