SUNDAY 1st August 2021
Jesus said: I am the bread of life.
Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6: 35
Thank you Lord,
That you, the God of Miracles,
The God who raised Jesus from the dead,
The God who answers by fire,
The God who brings water from the rock,
Who communicates in a gentle whisper –
Help me hear your voice today.
Veni Sancti Spiritus
Come Holy Spirit
Wait for the Lord, Whose day is near
Wait for the Lord, keep watch, take heart
A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.
1 You, God, are my God,
I thirst for you,
in a dry and parched land
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary
3 Because your love is better than life,
4 I will praise you as long as I live,
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;
6 On my bed I remember you;
7 Because you are my help,
8 I cling to you;
9 Those who want to kill me will be destroyed;
10 They will be given over to the sword
11 But the king will rejoice in God;
See, I am near, says the Lord, See I make all things new.
Mon âme se repose en paix sur Dieu seul de lui vient mon salut
Oui, sur Dieu seul, mon âme se repose, Se repose en paix
In God alone, my soul can find rest and peace, in God my peace and joy.
Only in God my soul can find it’s rest, find it’s rest — and peace
Jesus the Bread of Life. John 6 v 25 – 35
25 When they found him on the other side of the lake, they asked him, “Rabbi, when did you get here?”
26 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill. 27 Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
28 Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”
29 Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”
30 So they asked him, “What sign then will you give that we may see it and believe you? What will you do? 31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: ‘He gave them bread from heaven to eat.’
32 Jesus said to them, “Very truly I tell you, it is not Moses who has given you the bread from heaven, but it is my Father who gives you the true bread from heaven. 33 For the bread of God is the bread that comes down from heaven and gives life to the world.”
34 “Sir,” they said, “always give us this bread.”
35 Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
A time of silence
Maybe light a candle
In the Lord I’ll be ever thankful, in the Lord I will rejoice,
Look to God, do not be afraid,
Lift up your voices, the Lord is near,
lift up your voices the Lord is near
Bendigo al señhor
I bless the Lord,
The Lord’s Prayer
Sing to God with joyful hearts,
Praise the Lord for evermore,
Praise the Lord for evermore.
Singt dem Herrn ein neues lied
Lob singt ihm allezeit
Lob singt ihm allezeit

And at your disposal,
Thank you for your amazing Love
